| What is an Operating System? |
An operating system is a program that
controls the components of a computer system and controls the operation
of programs. There are a few different versions of the operating system
available in our laptops, e.g. Windows 98SE, Windows 2000, or Windows XP. The version included with your laptop will be listed under the laptop’s description.
Windows 98SE,
Windows 2000, or
Windows XP.
(Please note: None of these operating systems include any other programs such as Microsoft Office or any other software or other applications.)
